In July 2023, the fourth edition of Een Harp onder de Riem will take place: the music improvisation festival of the Netherlands! This music festival will take place at the Mozes & Aaron Church on Amsterdam’s Waterlooplein.

Walk in for free all month long between noon – 4 pm. Listen to music inspired one-on-one by your story or that of one of your fellow attendees. Receive an insane and unique personalized piece of music. Hear how a new composition is created. Become part of Amsterdam’s musical diary.

Also listen to other pieces of music on daily changing instruments. Hear how each day two musicians create, perform and record a new composition based on all the stories and improvisations. On Monday, July 31, the closing concert will feature the complete musical diary of the city.
