Come listen to the album launch for Roadrunners’ debut album, *Friendly Fire*!
“Friendly Fire” is a term that originated during World War I to describe situations in which soldiers are accidentally shot by their own troops. For Roadrunner, it also means complementing and inspiring one another, a passion for experimentation and tradition, and pushing each other to the limit. The album features three original compositions: “Hoag’s Object” by Erica Roozendaal, “Lairon” by Antonis Pratsinakis, and “Friendly Fire” by Michel Marang. We’ll also be recording “The Fence, the Rooftop, and the Distant Sea.” A wonderfully energetic piece by Syrian clarinetist and composer Kinan Azmeh, arranged by us for cello, accordion, and clarinet.
Refreshments and snacks will be served afterward
